After arriving at Como station, exit the train and follow the signs to the town center. Walk straight out of the station, and take a right onto Viale Giuseppe Garibaldi. Continue straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Piazza Roma, which will be on your left.

From Milan, you can also take a bus to Como. Head to the Lampugnano bus station, which is accessible via the M1 metro line (red line). At Lampugnano, find the ticket counters and purchase a ticket for a bus to Como. Buses may take approximately 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Como, get off at the main bus terminal, which is near the town center. Walk straight ahead towards the lake, and then turn left along the waterfront, continuing until you reach Piazza Roma.

For a scenic trip, you can take a ferry from Milan to Como. Start by heading to the Navigli area, where you can board a ferry to Como. Make sure to check the ferry schedule in advance, as it varies by season. The ferry ride offers beautiful views of the lake and mountains and takes about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Como, disembark and walk towards the town center. Head straight ahead and follow the signs for Piazza Roma. It's a short 10-15 minute walk from the ferry terminal.
