Train
From Milan, head to Milano Centrale train station. You can take Metro Line 3 (Yellow Line) from any station in Milan to Centrale FS. Once at Centrale, purchase a ticket to Lecco. Board the train to Lecco, which typically takes about 40-50 minutes. Upon arrival in Lecco, exit the station and head northeast towards Via Roma. Continue straight until you reach the waterfront area. The Ponte Azzone Visconti will be visible as you approach the lake.
Bus
Go to the Milano Lampugnano bus station, which can be accessed via Metro Line 1 (Red Line) to Sesto 1 Maggio FS, then transfer to Line 5 (Purple Line) to get to Lampugnano. At the bus station, find the bus service to Lecco. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive in Lecco, walk towards Via Roma, and continue until you reach the lakeside where Ponte Azzone Visconti is located.
Combination of Train and Bus
Start your journey from Milan by taking Metro Line 3 (Yellow Line) to Centrale FS. From there, take the train to Lecco.
