Originally constructed in the 19th century as a stock exchange (Sala Borsa), the building was transformed into a modern library in 2001. These ruins date back to the Roman city of Bononia (189 BC) and even earlier Etruscan settlements. Visitors can also explore the archaeological site from the basement level, where informative displays provide context.
