Getting There

    Drogheria Gilberto is located in the Quadrilatero, a pedestrian-friendly zone in the heart of Bologna's city center. From Piazza Maggiore, walk east towards the Archiginnasio. Continue onto Via Clavature, then turn right onto Via Drapperie. Drogheria Gilberto will be on your left. This is a very short walk, approximately 5 minutes. As the area is a ZTL (limited traffic zone) and very busy, walking is definitely recommended.

    If arriving by bus, the closest stops are Rizzoli or Piazza Maggiore. From either stop, walk towards Via Drapperie, which is located in the Quadrilatero. A single bus ticket costs €1.50 and is valid for 75 minutes. Tickets can be purchased at newsstands, tobacco shops, or via the TPER app. Buying a ticket on the bus costs €2.50.

    Taxis can drop you off near Piazza Maggiore, a short walk from Drogheria Gilberto. Note that taxis are restricted from entering Piazza Maggiore on weekends and holidays. Taxi fares in Bologna start at €3.90, with an additional charge of €1.45 per kilometer within the city. A short taxi ride from the Bologna Centrale train station to Piazza Maggiore will likely cost between €8-€13. There is an extra charge of €0.60 per piece of luggage.
