Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the city center of Modena, head towards Via Emilia. Walk west along this historic street, enjoying the local shops and cafes. Continue until you reach the intersection with Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. Turn right onto Corso Vittorio Emanuele II and walk straight for about 600 meters. You will pass through charming streets and see the beautiful architecture typical of Modena. When you reach Piazza della Libertà, continue straight until you reach Via Canalino. Turn left onto Via Canalino, then take the first right onto Viale Martiri della Libertà. Follow Viale Martiri della Libertà until you see the entrance to Parco Giardino Ducale Estense on your left. The park is a beautiful green space, perfect for a leisurely stroll.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  If you prefer taking a bus, locate the nearest bus stop in the city center. Buses that head towards Parco Giardino Ducale Estense typically include lines 1, 4, and 5. Board the bus and ensure you are heading towards 'Viale Martiri della Libertà'. The journey takes about 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Viale Martiri della Libertà stop, disembark and walk a short distance back to the park entrance, which will be on your right. • Bicycle

  Modena is bike-friendly, and you can easily rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops. From the city center, cycle towards Via Emilia and then to Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. Follow the same route as you would walking, but on two wheels! After about 10 minutes of cycling, you will reach Viale Martiri della Libertà. The entrance to Parco Giardino Ducale Estense will be on your left. Enjoy the ride and the scenery along the way!
