If you are in the center of Modena, head towards Piazza Grande. From the Piazza, walk north along Via Emilia towards the train station. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the train station. From there, take a train to Bologna Centrale. The train journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Bologna Centrale, exit the station and head towards Via dell'Indipendenza, which is a major street in Bologna. You can walk straight along the street for about 15 minutes, and you will reach your destination.
Public Transport
From Modena's central bus station (located near Piazza XX Settembre), take a direct bus to Bologna. Look for the bus number that indicates it goes to Bologna. The bus ride will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Bologna bus station, you can walk to Via dell'Indipendenza. It is a short 10-minute walk. Just head straight towards the city center, and you will find the street.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental stations in Modena. Start your journey by heading to the Modena train station and take the bike path that leads towards Bologna. Follow the designated cycling routes for about 30 km, which will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Bologna, navigate towards Via dell'Indipendenza, which is well-marked and in the city center.
