Getting There

  • Car

    From Monte Rosa, head southeast on SS33 towards Gattinara. Merge onto A26 towards Alessandria. After approximately 50 km, merge onto A1 towards Roma. Continue on A1 for about 400 km, then take the exit toward Roma. Follow signs for Tangenziale Est and merge onto the road. Take the exit for Via di Porta Maggiore, and follow signs to Viale del Monte Oppio. The park will be on your left.

  • Public Transportation (Train + Metro)

    From Monte Rosa, take a local train to Milan (Milano Centrale). From Milan, take an intercity train to Rome (Roma Termini). The journey can take around 3 to 4 hours. Upon arriving at Roma Termini, exit the train station and take Metro Line B (blue line) in the direction of Laurentina. Get off at the Cavour station. From there, walk about 10 minutes to Viale del Monte Oppio, where you will find Parco del Colle Oppio.

  • Public Transportation (Bus)

    If you are in the vicinity of Monte Rosa, take a local bus to the nearest train station, then catch a train to Rome. Once in Rome, use the city buses or Metro. From Roma Termini, you can take bus 105 towards 'Cavour' and get off at the stop 'Colle Oppio'. The park entrance is a short walk from the bus stop.
