Getting There

  • Public Bus

    From Montepulciano, head to the main bus station located at Via della Libertà. Take the bus to Chiusi. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Chiusi bus station, exit and walk towards the main road. Follow the signs pointing towards Lago di Chiusi which is around a 30-minute walk from the station. You will head north on Via della Libertà and then take a left onto Via dei Cacciatori, which will lead you directly to the lake.

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from local shops in Montepulciano. Once you have your bike, take the road towards Chiusi, following Via Roma out of Montepulciano. Continue on this road for about 10 km until you reach Chiusi. Upon reaching Chiusi, follow the signs for Lago di Chiusi. It is approximately an additional 3 km from the town center, making for a scenic ride to the lake.
