If you are traveling by car from Mugello, take the A1 motorway from Barberino di Mugello towards Florence. Continue on the A1 for approximately 30 km. Take exit 'Firenze Nord' and follow the signs for 'Centro'. Merge onto Via Pistoiese and then onto Viale Alessandro Guidoni. Continue straight until you reach the city center. Follow signs for 'Piazzale degli Uffizi'. Note that parking in Florence can be limited, so consider using a parking garage such as 'Garage Ponte Vecchio' or 'Florence Parking' and walk to the Uffizi Galleries from there.
Public Transportation - Train
From Mugello, you can take a train from the nearest train station, such as 'San Piero a Sieve' or 'Borgo San Lorenzo'. Purchase a ticket to 'Firenze Santa Maria Novella' station. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the station, exit and walk towards Via Alamanni. From there, you can either take a bus (Line 23 towards 'Piazza della Libertà') or walk approximately 20 minutes to reach the Uffizi Galleries located at Piazzale degli Uffizi, 6.

Check for local bus services that connect Mugello towns to Florence. For instance, from Borgo San Lorenzo, take the bus to Florence (check the current schedule at the bus station). The bus will drop you off in the city center. From the bus terminal, walk to Piazzale degli Uffizi, which is approximately a 15-minute walk.
