Marina di Corricella, Procida's most ancient marina, developed at the foot of medieval Terra Murata from the 17th century. This exemplifies 'spontaneous architecture' with fishermen's houses in a chaotic yet harmonious mosaic of yellows, pinks, arches, domes, staircases, loggias, and vibrant facades. Colors helped fishermen spot homes from sea. The car-free village feels like a world apart, interlaced with stairs and windows overlooking the harbor.
