Walking
Starting from the heart of Spaccanapoli, head east on Via dei Tribunali. Continue straight for about 600 meters until you reach the intersection with Corso Umberto I. Turn right onto Corso Umberto I and walk for approximately 300 meters. You will see Porta Capuana on your left, located at Piazza S. Francesco a Capuana. This route is approximately 15 minutes of walking and is suitable for tourists, with plenty of sights along the way.
Public Transport - Metro
From Spaccanapoli, walk to the nearest metro station, which is 'Università' (about a 10-minute walk). Take the Line 1 (the yellow line) towards 'Garibaldi'. Travel for one stop and get off at 'Garibaldi'. From there, transfer to Line 2 (the green line) and take it towards 'Napoli Centrale'. Get off at the next stop, 'Piazza Garibaldi'. Exit the station and walk towards Corso Umberto I. You will then walk for about 10 minutes to reach Porta Capuana, located at Piazza S. Francesco a Capuana. The cost for a single metro ticket is approximately €1.10.
Public Transport - Bus
From Spaccanapoli, find the nearest bus stop, which is 'Piazza Cavour'. Take the bus number 151 or 140. Ride for about 5 stops (approximately 10 minutes) and get off at the stop 'Piazza S. Francesco a Capuana'. The bus will drop you right at the destination. The cost for a single bus ticket is approximately €1.10.
