Getting There

  • Walking

    Orvieto Underground is located at Piazza del Duomo, 23. From the Duomo, walk towards the left side of the cathedral, where you'll find the ticket office. It's a short, easy walk.

  • Public Transport

    From Piazza Matteotti (Orvieto Scalo), take the funicular to Piazza Cahen in Orvieto. From Piazza Cahen, take Bus A to Piazza Duomo. The ticket for the funicular is €1.30 per person each way, and is valid for 90 minutes including the bus ride. Alternatively, a bus from Piazza Matteotti to Piazza Duomo is also available. Bus tickets cost around €1.30.

  • Parking

    Several parking lots are available in Orvieto. Piazza Marconi, behind Piazza Duomo, charges €1.50 per hour. Campo della Fiera, near the medieval aqueduct, also charges €1.50 per hour. Street parking is available for €1.50 per hour. From any of these parking locations, follow signs to Piazza Duomo and then walk to Piazza del Duomo, 23.
