Walking
From the center of Orvieto, start at the Orvieto Cathedral (Duomo di Orvieto). Head south on Via del Duomo, and then turn left onto Via Garibaldi. Continue walking straight until you reach the bus station (Piazza della Repubblica). At the bus station, catch a bus to Montefiascone. The bus ride should take around 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Montefiascone, get off at the stop near Piazza Urbano V. From there, it’s a short walk to Rocca dei Papi, located right on the square.

Go to the bus station in Orvieto, located at Piazza della Repubblica. Purchase a ticket at the ticket counter or from a vending machine. Take a bus heading towards Montefiascone. The trip will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Montefiascone, disembark at the stop closest to Piazza Urbano V. After getting off the bus, you will see Rocca dei Papi directly in front of you.
