Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Palermo Cathedral, exit the cathedral grounds and head southeast on Corso Vittorio Emanuele towards Via Maqueda. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach Piazza Verdi. From there, take Via Maqueda and walk for another 300 meters until you reach the intersection with Via Roma. Turn left onto Via Roma and continue walking for about 400 meters. You will come to Piazza San Domenico; here, turn right onto Via Torremuzza. Follow this street until you see Via Porta Carini. Turn left onto Via Porta Carini, and Carini Gate will be on your left.

Public Transport (Bus)
From the central train station (Stazione Centrale di Palermo), take bus line 102 or 104. You can find the bus stop just outside the station. Board the bus and travel for about 10-15 minutes. Get off at the stop named 'Porta Carini' which is close to Carini Gate. From the bus stop, walk a short distance to reach the gate at Via Porta Carini.
