Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the city center, start at the famous Teatro Massimo. Head southwest on Via Giuseppe Verdi until you reach Piazza Giuseppe Verdi. From there, take Via Roma heading west. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Ruggero Settimo. Turn left onto Via Ruggero Settimo. Walk until you reach the intersection with Via Maqueda. Here, you can take a bus or continue walking straight. If you choose to walk, continue west on Via Maqueda until you reach the Porta Nuova (New Gate). From Porta Nuova, take Via Vittorio Emanuele, which leads directly south towards the historic center. As you walk, look for signs pointing to the Wall of Legality, which is located near Piazza degli Aragonesi.

    From the central station (Stazione Centrale di Palermo), you can take bus number 104 towards Viale della Libertà. Get off at the stop named 'Piazza degli Aragonesi'.
