Walking
From Mondello beach, head east along the promenade. Continue until the end of the beach where the sand meets the rocky coastline. Il Faro will be a short distance away on your right, about a 15-20 minute walk.
Public Transport
From Mondello, take bus line 806 towards Palermo. Get off at the 'Faro di Capo Gallo' stop, approximately a 10-15 minute ride. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to Il Faro, following signs towards the lighthouse. A single bus ticket costs €1.40 and is valid for 90 minutes.
Taxi
Taxis are available throughout Palermo. A taxi ride from the city center to Il Faro typically costs between €25-€35 and takes approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Note that fares can vary based on time of day and traffic conditions. Taxi stands are located at the main rail depot, Piazza Verdi, Piazza Indipendenza, and Piazza Ruggero Séttimo.
