If you are starting from the central area of Palermo, such as the Teatro Massimo, exit the theater and head northwest on Via Maqueda. Continue straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Via Roma. Turn left onto Via Roma and walk for about 5 minutes. When you reach the intersection with Corso Vittorio Emanuele, turn right. Continue straight for another 5 minutes until you reach the Piazza Fonderia, which will be on your right.

If you are near the Politeama Theatre, walk to the tram stop 'Politeama' and take the Tram Line 1. Ride for about 10 minutes and get off at the stop 'Piazza Fonderia'. From there, you will see the square right in front of you.
