Walking
If you're starting from the city center, head east on Via Garibaldi, passing the beautiful shops and cafes. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Cavour. Turn left onto Via Cavour and walk until you reach Piazza della Pace. From here, continue straight onto Viale Toschi. Follow Viale Toschi until it merges into Viale Piacenza. The Palazzo Ducale di Parma will be on your left at Viale Piacenza, 3.
Public Transport - Bus
To reach Palazzo Ducale di Parma via bus, find your nearest bus stop in the city center. Take bus number 6 or 21 towards 'Ospedale Maggiore'. Stay on the bus for about 10 minutes, and alight at the stop called 'Palazzo Ducale'. The Palazzo will be directly in front of you at Viale Piacenza, 3.
Bicycle
For a more active approach, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental stations around Parma. Start from the city center and head towards Viale Giuseppe Garibaldi. Follow this street until you reach Viale Toschi. Continue straight until you reach Viale Piacenza. The Palazzo Ducale di Parma will be on your left. There are bike racks available near the entrance.
