Getting there

Bus

To reach the Baglioni Chapel in Spello from Perugia, start by heading to the main bus station, 'Piazza Partigiani'. Look for the bus line that goes to Spello, which is typically labeled as 'Spello' or 'Foligno'. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the 'Spello' bus stop, exit the bus and walk towards the historic center. Follow the signs that direct you towards the 'Centro Storico'. Continue straight until you reach Via Giulia, and then take a right. The Baglioni Chapel is located just a short walk ahead.

Train

From Perugia, you can take a train from the Perugia Fontivegge train station towards Foligno. Check the train schedule for departures, and board the train that stops at Spello (the journey takes approximately 20-25 minutes). Once you arrive at the Spello train station, exit and turn left onto Via dell'Umbria. Continue straight until you reach the main square, Piazza della Repubblica. From there, head towards Via Giulia on the right, and follow the signs to the Baglioni Chapel, located just a short distance ahead.

Walking

If you're feeling adventurous and are located near the outskirts of Perugia, you can also walk to Spello. Start by heading towards the direction of Via del Campo, which leads out of the city. Follow the scenic countryside paths that lead to Spello, which is roughly 10 kilometers away. The walk will take approximately 2 hours, but you will be rewarded with beautiful views of the Umbrian landscape. Once you arrive in Spello, navigate to the historic center and follow the signs to Baglioni Chapel.
