Train
From Perugia, make your way to the Perugia Train Station (Stazione di Perugia). You can walk there from the city center or take a bus. Look for the bus stop near Piazza Italia, which has several lines heading to the station. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Orvieto. The train journey typically takes about 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Orvieto Station, exit the station and head to the bus stop outside. Take the bus (Line C) towards Orvieto Centro. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Disembark at the stop closest to the historic center of Orvieto, and from there, it’s a short walk to Via della Cava.
Bus
From Perugia, head to the main bus terminal at Piazza Partigiani. Buses to Orvieto depart regularly from this terminal. Purchase a ticket for Orvieto at the ticket counter or on the bus. The journey takes about 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Orvieto, you can either walk or take a local bus to get to Via della Cava. If walking, head towards the historic center and follow Via del Duomo until you reach Via della Cava. It should take around 15-20 minutes to walk.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Perugia to Orvieto. Taxis can be found throughout the city, or you can call one. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you reach Orvieto, ask the driver to drop you off at Via della Cava, which is a well-known location.
