Getting There

• Bus

  From the center of Perugia, head to the nearest bus stop, which is usually located near Piazza Italia or Corso Vannucci. Look for the bus line that goes to Orvieto; this is typically the E048 or E045 line. Purchase your ticket from a tabaccaio (tobacconist) or at the bus station. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride which takes approximately 40-50 minutes. The bus will drop you off at the Orvieto bus station. From there, follow the signs indicating the direction of the funicular railway.

• Train

  Make your way to the Perugia train station, located at Piazza Vittorio Veneto. Check the train schedule for trains heading towards Orvieto. The train journey takes about 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Orvieto train station, exit the station and take the funicular railway, which will take you up to the town. Once you reach the top, follow signs to the main street, Corso Cavour, until you reach Torre del Moro located at Corso Cavour, n° 87.

• Walking (from Orvieto bus/train station)

  After arriving at the Orvieto bus or train station, you can also walk to Torre del Moro, which is approximately a 20-30 minute walk. Exit the bus station and follow the signs for the funicular railway. Take the funicular up to Orvieto. After disembarking, walk straight ahead and take a left onto Via del Duomo. Continue walking until you reach Piazza del Duomo, then proceed down Via Cavour. This will lead you directly to Corso Cavour, where you will find Torre del Moro at number 87.
