Bus
If you are in the center of Perugia, head to the main bus station located at Piazza Partigiani. From there, take the bus line 'S1' towards Santa Maria degli Angeli. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Piazza Porziuncola' stop, which is right in front of the Basilica. The Porziuncola will be directly in front of you.
Walking
If you prefer to walk and enjoy the sights, start from the historic center of Perugia, specifically from the Rocca Paolina. Head down Via Mazzini towards Via dei Priori. Continue walking straight until you reach Corso Vannucci. From there, turn left and walk down Corso Vannucci until you reach the large square at the end. Then, take Via dei Filosofi to the left. Follow this road until it leads you to the bus station. You can then take bus 'S1' from the bus station as described above to reach Piazza Porziuncola.
Taxi
For a more direct route without public transport, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Perugia. Simply ask the driver to take you to 'Piazza Porziuncola, Santa Maria degli Angeli'. The taxi ride should take approximately 15 minutes depending on traffic.
