If you are in the center of Pisa, start at the Pisa Central Station (Stazione di Pisa Centrale). Exit the station and head towards the main street, Via Giuseppe Mazzini. Walk straight until you reach Piazza dei Miracoli, where the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa is located. From the Leaning Tower, exit the square and head south towards Via Santa Maria. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Via Garibaldi. Turn left onto Via Garibaldi and continue until you reach the walls of Lucca. From there, you can catch a local bus to Lucca. Once you arrive in Lucca, head to Piazza S. Frediano, where the Basilica di San Frediano is located. The basilica will be on your right.
