Getting There

• Train

  From Florence Santa Maria Novella train station, purchase a ticket to Montecarlo. Board the train to Lucca. Once you arrive at Lucca station, exit the station and look for the local bus stop. Take the bus to Montecarlo, which will drop you off in the town center. From the center, Fattoria Del Teso is about a 20-minute walk. Head north on Via Roma, then turn left onto Via della Poltroniera. Follow the road until you reach the vineyard.

• Bus

  From the main bus station in Florence (Piazzale Montelungo), take a bus to Montecarlo. Check the local bus schedules for the most current times. Once you arrive in Montecarlo, you can walk to Fattoria Del Teso by heading towards Via della Poltroniera. It is approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Florence. Follow the signs towards the bike paths leading out of the city. The route to Montecarlo is approximately 23 kilometers and takes you through the beautiful Tuscan countryside. Once you reach Montecarlo, follow Via della Poltroniera to reach Fattoria Del Teso.

• Walking

  If you are already in Montecarlo, you can easily walk to Fattoria Del Teso. From the town center, head north on Via Roma and then turn left onto Via della Poltroniera. The vineyard is located a short distance ahead on the right-hand side.
