Train
If you are starting from Pisa Centrale train station, take a train to Lucca. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Lucca train station, exit the station and head towards Viale della Repubblica. Walk straight until you reach the roundabout, then take the first exit onto Via Romana. Follow Via Romana until you reach the city walls. Continue walking along the walls until you see the entrance to the Orto Botanico Comunale di Lucca (Botanical Garden) on your left at Casermetta San Regolo, Baluardo San Regolo.

From the Pisa city center, you can take the LAM Rossa bus line towards Lucca. Get off at the Lucca bus station. Once you arrive, walk towards Viale della Repubblica, then follow it to the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Via Romana and continue to the city walls. The entrance to the Orto Botanico Comunale di Lucca will be on your left at Casermetta San Regolo, Baluardo San Regolo.

If you are already in Lucca and nearby, you can walk to the Orto Botanico Comunale di Lucca. Start at the city center, find your way to Piazza San Michele, then walk towards the city walls. Enter the walls and walk along until you find the entrance to the Botanical Garden at Casermetta San Regolo, Baluardo San Regolo. It should take you about 15 minutes from the city center.
