    Getting There

    Walking

    From the Pompeii archaeological site entrance at Porta Marina, walk towards the main street (Corso Giuseppe Mazzini). Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Plinio. Turn left onto Via Plinio and follow the road as it leads out of the archaeological park. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will come to the main road (SS163). Cross the road carefully and look for the bus stop marked for SITA buses heading to Amalfi. Board the bus, and enjoy the scenic ride along the coast to Amalfi. The journey takes about 1 hour.

    From the Pompeii train station, exit and head towards the bus stop located outside the station. Look for the SITA bus service that goes to Amalfi. Purchase your ticket from the ticket machine or from the bus driver (exact change may be required). Board the bus and enjoy a comfortable ride along the coast. The bus ride takes about 1 hour. Disembark at the main bus stop in Amalfi, which is centrally located.
