Walking
To reach Decumani from the central area of Pompeii, start at the Pompeii Archaeological Park entrance. Head southeast on Via Villa dei Misteri for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Via dell'Abbondanza. Turn left onto Via dell'Abbondanza and continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer. You will pass several shops and historical sites along the way. As you approach the end of Via dell'Abbondanza, you will see the Decumani area emerge on your right, which is known for its historic streets and vibrant atmosphere.
Public Transport
If you prefer to use public transport, walk to the nearest bus stop located at the Pompeii Scavi Villa dei Misteri train station. Take the Circumvesuviana train towards Naples. After a short ride, get off at the Napoli Garibaldi station. From there, exit the station and follow signs for Metro Line 1 to take the metro towards Piscinola. Get off at the Dante stop, and from there, you can easily walk to the Decumani area by heading west along Via Toledo, which will lead you to the historic streets.

You can also take a taxi for a more direct route. From your location in Pompeii, request a taxi to take you to Decumani in Naples. The taxi will take you directly to your destination, and the journey typically takes about 30 minutes depending on traffic conditions.
