Getting There

Walking
From the Pompeii Archaeological Park entrance, head east on Via Villa dei Misteri. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Via Plinio. Turn left onto Via Plinio and walk for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the Circumvesuviana train station, Pompei Scavi. Once at the station, purchase a ticket for Ischia (you will need to take the train to Naples and then a ferry to Ischia).

Start from the Pompeii Archaeological Park entrance and walk to the Pompei Scavi train station, which is about a 15-minute walk. At the station, take the Circumvesuviana train towards Naples. After approximately 30 minutes, you will arrive at Napoli Centrale. From Napoli Centrale, follow the signs to the ferry terminal (about a 10-minute walk). Once at the terminal, board a ferry to Ischia, which will take around 1 hour.
