Walking
From the center of Pompeii, head to the Pompeii Scavi train station. Take the Circumvesuviana train towards Sorrento. Disembark at the Sant'Agnello station. From there, you will need to catch a bus to Anacapri. Look for the SITA bus stop near the train station, which will take you to the ferry terminal in Sorrento. Once at the ferry terminal, take a ferry to Capri. Upon arrival at Capri, take the bus or the funicular to Anacapri. From Anacapri, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Monte Solaro. If you choose to walk, follow the signs for Monte Solaro, which is a scenic hike offering beautiful views.

Starting from Pompeii, make your way to the Pompeii Scavi train station. Board the Circumvesuviana train towards Sorrento. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the Sant'Agnello station. Look for the SITA bus service to Sorrento and board the bus that takes you to the ferry terminal. Once you reach the ferry terminal, buy a ticket for a ferry to Capri. After arriving in Capri, catch a local bus to Anacapri, then follow the signs or ask locals for directions to Monte Solaro. The bus ride should take about 20 minutes.
