Getting There

Walking
From the Pompeii archaeological site, exit the main entrance and walk towards the train station (Circumvesuviana). Head towards the northwest on Via Villa dei Misteri, then take a right onto Via Plinio. Follow this road until you reach the station. Once at the station, take the Circumvesuviana train towards Naples. Stay on the train for about 30 minutes until you reach the Napoli Piazza Garibaldi station. From there, exit the station and transfer to the Metro Line 2 towards Pozzuoli. Get off at the Montesanto station. After exiting, follow signs for the Funicolare di Chiaia and take the funicular up the hill. When you reach the top, exit the funicular and walk towards the Riviera di Chiaia. The Museo Pignatelli will be on your left at Riviera di Chiaia, 200.

From the Pompeii archaeological site, head to the nearby bus stop located at Piazza Esedra. Take the EAV bus line 5000 towards Naples. It will take approximately 30 minutes to reach Naples. Get off at Via Chiaia, which is a short walk from the museum. Once you disembark, head towards the coast, and you will find the Museo Pignatelli located at Riviera di Chiaia, 200.
