Getting There

    From the Pompeii archaeological site, head east on Via Villa dei Misteri until you reach the intersection with Corso Vittorio Emanuele. Turn left onto Corso Vittorio Emanuele and continue straight until you reach the train station, Stazione di Pompei. From there, take the Circumvesuviana train towards Naples. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Napoli Centrale, exit the train station and head towards the metro line (Line 2) to reach the Mergellina station. After getting off at Mergellina, exit the station and walk towards the waterfront. You will find Riviera di Chiaia along the coast, approximately a 10-minute walk from the metro station.

    From the Pompeii archaeological site, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Via Plinio. Take the EAV bus line 5 towards Naples. The bus will take you directly to the main bus terminal in Naples. Once you arrive at the terminal, transfer to the Metro Line 2 and travel towards Mergellina station. After reaching Mergellina, walk towards the seafront, and you will find Riviera di Chiaia, a beautiful waterfront area to explore.
