Getting There

Walking
From the Pompeii archaeological site, head east towards Via Villa dei Misteri. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Corso Vittorio Emanuele. Turn right onto Corso Vittorio Emanuele and walk for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by local shops and cafes. Once you reach the end of Corso Vittorio Emanuele, you can take the Circumvesuviana train at the Pompeii Scavi station towards Naples. Get off at the Mergellina station, which is approximately a 30-minute ride. From Mergellina, you can take a local bus or walk to Posillipo, which is approximately 3 kilometers away. If you choose to walk, follow the signs towards Via Posillipo and enjoy the scenic views along the coast.

Public Transport
Start at the Pompeii archaeological site and walk to the Pompeii Scavi train station. Once there, take the Circumvesuviana train towards Naples. After about 30 minutes, get off at the Mergellina station. From Mergellina, you can take bus number C21 or C29 towards Posillipo. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the Posillipo stop and follow the signs to your destination.
