Walk
From the center of Pompeii, head south on Via Roma towards the entrance of the Pompeii Archaeological Site. Continue straight until you reach the main exit. Once outside, turn left onto Via Villa dei Misteri and follow the road until you reach the bus station. From here, you can catch a SITA bus to Positano. Make sure to check the bus schedule for departure times.
Bus
Once you arrive at the bus station in Pompeii, purchase a ticket for the SITA bus heading to Positano. The journey takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. You will be traveling along the scenic Amalfi Coast. When you reach Positano, get off at the main bus stop. From there, head down the pathway towards the beach, and follow the signs to Spiaggia Grande. It’s about a 10-minute walk.
