Walking
From the Pompeii Archaeological Park entrance, head north towards Via Villa dei Misteri. Turn right onto Via Villa dei Misteri and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Corso Giuseppe Garibaldi. Turn left onto Corso Giuseppe Garibaldi and walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach the train station, Stazione di Pompei. From there, take the Circumvesuviana train towards Naples and get off at Benevento, which is approximately a 1-hour ride. Once you arrive at Benevento Station, exit the station and walk towards the main square. Continue straight until you reach Piazza Castello, where Rocca dei Rettori is located.

Public Bus
From the Pompeii Archaeological Park entrance, walk to the bus stop at Via Roma. Board the bus that heads towards Benevento. The journey will take approximately 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Benevento, get off at the main bus station. From there, walk straight towards the city center for about 10 minutes until you reach Piazza Castello, where Rocca dei Rettori is situated.

Make your way to the Pompei Scavi - Villa dei Misteri train station. Purchase a ticket for the Circumvesuviana train heading towards Naples. After about 1 hour, get off at Benevento station. Upon exiting the station, follow the signs to the city center. Walk straight for about 15 minutes until you arrive at Piazza Castello, where you will find Rocca dei Rettori.
