Walking
From the Pompeii Archaeological Park entrance, head east on Corso Giuseppe Mazzini. Continue straight for about 800 meters until you reach the Pompei Train Station. Once there, take the train to Ischia. After arriving at Ischia, you can take a local bus or taxi to Barano d'Ischia. The bus stop is located near the ferry terminal. Board the bus heading to Barano d'Ischia and get off at the Scarrupata stop. From there, it’s a short walk to Spiaggia Scarrupata.
Public Transport
Start at the Pompeii Train Station. Purchase a ticket for the train to Ischia. After approximately a 90-minute scenic ride, disembark at Ischia. From Ischia, you can catch a bus that goes towards Barano d'Ischia. Ensure you board the correct bus, as some may head to different destinations. Once you arrive in Barano d'Ischia, ask the driver to let you know when to get off for Spiaggia Scarrupata, which is well-known among locals.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Pompeii to the ferry port in Naples. Once at the ferry port, catch a ferry to Ischia. After arriving on Ischia, take a taxi directly to Spiaggia Scarrupata. This option is faster but more expensive than public transport.
