Walking
From the center of Pompeii, head south on Via Roma towards the main entrance of the archaeological site. After about 500 meters, take a left onto Via Plinio and continue walking for approximately 1.2 kilometers until you reach the train station, Pompei Scavi - Villa dei Misteri. Here, you can catch a Circumvesuviana train towards Sorrento. The train ride takes about 30 minutes.
Train
Upon arriving at Sorrento station, exit the station and head towards the bus terminal located right next to it. Board the local bus heading to the town center of Sorrento, which is just a short 5-minute ride. Get off at the stop named 'Piazza Tasso'. From there, walk towards the main square and follow the signs towards Vallone dei Mulini, which is approximately a 10-minute walk. The entrance is marked, and you will descend along a walkway to view the beautiful valley.
Bus
Alternatively, from Pompeii, you can take a bus directly to Sorrento. Look for the SITA bus terminal near the archaeological site. Purchase your ticket and board the bus heading to Sorrento. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once in Sorrento, you can follow the same walking directions from Piazza Tasso to Vallone dei Mulini as mentioned above.
