Walking
From the center of Positano, head towards Via Pasitea and take the stairs down to the beach. Once you reach the beach, follow the waterfront promenade (Via del Saracino) towards the ferry terminal. From there, take a ferry to Capri. The ferry ride takes about 30-40 minutes, and upon arrival at Capri, you will find signs directing you to the main attractions. Giardini di Augusto is located a short walk from the ferry terminal. Head towards Via Roma and then take a right on Via Matteotti; the gardens will be on your left.

To reach Giardini di Augusto, first make your way to the Positano ferry terminal located at the beach. Purchase a ticket for the ferry to Capri. The ferries run frequently, but it’s a good idea to check the schedule ahead of time. Once you arrive at the Capri ferry terminal, exit the terminal and follow the signs to Via Roma. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Matteotti, then turn left. Giardini di Augusto will be a short walk from there.
