Foot
If you are in the main area of Positano, start by walking to the Positano ferry terminal located at the beach. From the beach, head towards the main road (Via Pasitea) and walk towards the Positano Church (Chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta). Once you reach the church, continue straight until you get to the bus stop located nearby. Here, you can catch a SITA bus heading to Anacapri. The bus ride will take you through the scenic Amalfi Coast and drop you off at the Anacapri bus terminal.

After arriving at the Anacapri bus terminal, you will find signs directing you to the chairlift station for Monte Solaro. Follow the signs and walk approximately 10 minutes uphill along Via Caprile. The chairlift station is located on your left. Purchase a ticket for the chairlift, which will take you directly to the summit of Monte Solaro. Enjoy the stunning views of the island and the surrounding sea.
Ferry
Alternatively, if you want to enjoy a boat ride, you can take a ferry from Positano to Capri Island. Make your way to the Positano ferry terminal at the beach and purchase a ticket for a ferry to Capri. The ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Capri harbor, you can either take a bus or a taxi to Anacapri. From there, follow the same steps to reach the chairlift for Monte Solaro.
