Foot
From the main beach area of Positano, walk up Via Pasitea towards the top of the town. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via dei Mulini, then turn left. Keep walking until you reach the main road, SS163. At this point, you can catch a bus to Salerno. The bus stop is on the left side, just before the main road leads out of Positano.
Bus
Catch a SITA bus heading towards Salerno from the bus stop on SS163. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. Make sure to keep an eye on the stops, as the bus will announce 'Salerno' before it arrives. Get off at the last stop, which is in front of the Salerno train station.
Foot
From the Salerno train station, exit the station and walk straight across the square to Via Roma. Turn left on Via Roma and continue walking straight until you reach Piazza della Libertà. The square is on your right, and you will see the beautiful fountains and the surrounding buildings that define this main square.
