Walking
From the main beach area of Positano, head up Via del Saraceno. Continue walking uphill for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Via Pasitea. Turn left onto Via Pasitea and follow it as it curves around the cliffside. Keep walking until you reach the bus stop at the top of the hill. From here, take the local SITA bus towards Amalfi. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Amalfi, get off at the main bus terminal. From the terminal, walk along Via Castello, and you will find Piazza Di Pogerola about a 5-minute walk away.
Walking
If you prefer to walk directly from Positano to Piazza Di Pogerola, you can take the scenic route. Start at the main beach and walk up Via dei Mulini, which leads you up into the hills. After about 20 minutes of walking, you will reach a fork. Take the left path towards Nocelle. Continue on this path for about 30-40 minutes, enjoying the stunning views of the coastline. Eventually, you will reach the village of Nocelle. From Nocelle, follow the signs towards Amalfi and you will arrive at Piazza Di Pogerola after a further 20-minute walk.
Combination of Walking and Bus
For a quicker route, start at the main beach of Positano and walk to the SITA bus stop located near the main road (Via Pasitea). Take the SITA bus towards Amalfi and get off at the Amalfi bus terminal. After disembarking, walk towards Via Castello. You will find Piazza Di Pogerola just a short 5-minute walk up this street.
