    Bus

    From Positano, head to the main bus stop located near the SITA bus station at Via Pasitea. Purchase a ticket to Ercolano, which can be done at the ticket counter or at a nearby shop. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride along the Amalfi Coast. The journey will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. When you arrive at Ercolano, get off at the stop for 'Ercolano Scavi' which is the closest stop to Vesuvius National Park.

    Walking

    After getting off the bus at 'Ercolano Scavi', follow the signs leading to the Vesuvius National Park entrance. The walk to the entrance will take about 30 minutes. Head towards the main road, and then follow the path that leads uphill towards the park entrance. Keep an eye out for local signposts indicating the way.
