Car
From Bari, take the A14 highway towards Foggia. After about 40 km, take the exit for Andria (A1) and merge onto the SS170. Follow the signs for Castel del Monte. The castle is approximately 30 minutes from the exit. There is ample parking available near the site, but a fee of around €5 may apply for parking.
Public Transportation
From Bari Centrale train station, take a train towards Barletta (approx. 30 minutes). Get off at Andria train station. From Andria, you can take a local bus (line 10 or 12) towards Castel del Monte. The bus ride will take about 30-40 minutes, and tickets can be purchased at the station or on the bus (around €2). Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance as service may be limited.
Taxi or Ride-Sharing
If you prefer a more direct method, you can take a taxi or use a ride-sharing app from Andria train station directly to Castel del Monte. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes and cost around €30-€50, depending on traffic and time of day.
