Getting there

Train

If you are in Bari, head to Bari Centrale train station. Purchase a ticket to Trani, which is approximately a 30-minute ride. Once you arrive in Trani, exit the train station and head towards the main road, Via Mazzini. Turn right onto Via Mazzini and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. Turn left onto Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, and continue walking until you reach P.za Re Manfredi. The Castello Svevo di Trani will be on your left at the square.

Bus

From Bari, you can also take a bus to Trani. Head to the Bari bus station (Stazione dei Bus) and find a bus that is heading to Trani. The journey takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Trani, disembark at the main bus station. From there, walk towards Via Mazzini, turn right, and continue straight to Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. Turn left on Corso Vittorio Emanuele II and walk until you reach P.za Re Manfredi, where the Castello Svevo di Trani is located.

Bicycle

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Bari. Take the coastal road (Lungomare) north from Bari towards Trani. The distance is about 45 kilometers and will take approximately 2-3 hours depending on your speed. Follow the signs towards Trani, and once you arrive, head towards P.za Re Manfredi to find the Castello Svevo di Trani.

Walking

For those adventurous enough to walk, you can start from Bari and follow the coastline north toward Trani. This route is approximately 45 kilometers, so it will take quite a while, but you'll enjoy beautiful seaside views along the way. Once you reach Trani, head towards P.za Re Manfredi, where the Castello Svevo di Trani is located.
