Getting There

Walking
From the central square of Ravello (Piazza Vescovado), head down Via San Giovanni del Toro towards the main road. Once you reach the main road (SS163), turn left and walk towards the direction of Minori. Follow the road until you reach the bus stop 'Ravello - Via San Giovanni del Toro'. Take a SITA bus to Naples. The bus will take you to the central bus station in Naples.

Walking and Public Transport
After arriving at the Naples central bus station, walk to the nearby Metro station 'Stazione Centrale'. Take the Metro Line 2 towards 'Pozzuoli'. Get off at the 'Montesanto' station. From there, you can either walk or take a funicular to reach 'Castel Sant'Elmo'. Walking involves heading to Via Toledo, then finding the funicular station which will take you up to the castle.

If you prefer walking from the Montesanto station, exit the station and head towards Via Toledo. Continue straight until you reach Via Santa Teresa a Chiaia. Follow this road until you see the signs for 'Castel Sant'Elmo'. The path will lead you uphill, and you will soon see the castle on your left.
