Walking
To reach Piazza della Libertà from the center of Ravello, start at the main square in Ravello, called Piazza Vescovado. Head down the main road, Via della Repubblica, towards the direction of Scala. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with SS163. Turn right onto SS163 and follow it down towards the coast. You will pass through the town of Scala. As you continue on SS163, it will lead you down into the coastal town of Salerno. Once you reach Salerno, follow the signs to Piazza della Libertà, which is located near the waterfront. The entire walk will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your pace.
Bus
From Ravello, you can take a local SITA bus to Salerno. Head to the bus stop located near the main square, Piazza Vescovado. Look for the bus heading towards Salerno; it should be marked with the destination. The ride will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Salerno, get off at the main bus terminal. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to Piazza della Libertà. Head towards the waterfront and follow the signs to Piazza della Libertà.
Taxi
If you prefer a more comfortable option, you can hire a taxi from Ravello to Salerno. You can find taxis near Piazza Vescovado. The drive will take approximately 30 minutes. Just tell the driver to take you to Piazza della Libertà in Salerno. This is the quickest option and allows you to enjoy the scenic views along the way.
