Walking
If you are starting from the Colosseum, head northwest on Via di San Giovanni in Laterano towards Via di Villa Peretti. Continue straight until you reach Piazza Venezia. From there, walk towards Via del Corso, then turn left onto Via dei Fori Imperiali. Continue straight until you reach Via di Santa Maria in Aracoeli. Turn right onto this street and follow it until you arrive at Piazza Mattei. The Fontana delle Tartarughe will be on your left in the square.

Metro
To get to Fontana delle Tartarughe via the Metro, take Line B (Blue Line) from your nearest station to the Colosseo station. Get off at the Termini station and transfer to Line A (Orange Line) towards Battistini. Get off at the Barberini station. From there, exit and walk towards Via del Tritone. Continue walking straight until you reach Piazza Barberini, then head towards Via delle Quattro Fontane. Continue straight until you reach Via del Nazareno, and then take a left onto Via di San Lorenzo in Lucina. Follow it until you reach Piazza Mattei, where the fountain is located.

If you prefer taking the bus, find the nearest bus stop. You can take bus line 64, which travels from the Vatican to Termini. Get off at the stop called 'Largo Argentina.' From there, walk towards Via di Torre Argentina, and turn right onto Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. Keep walking until you reach the intersection with Via dei Falegnami. Turn left onto Via dei Falegnami and continue straight until you reach Piazza Mattei. The Fontana delle Tartarughe will be in the center of the square.
