Getting there

Metro

If you are near a metro station, take Line B (the blue line) towards Laurentina. Get off at the 'Colosseo' station, which is the second stop. Once you exit the metro, you will see the Colosseum directly in front of you, just a short walk away.

Bus

Look for a bus stop nearby and check for buses that go towards the Colosseum area. The bus lines 75, 81, 87, and 673 stop close to the Colosseum. Board the bus and get off at the 'Colosseo' stop. The Colosseum will be within a few steps from the bus stop.

Walking

If you are already in the historic center, the Colosseum is easily reachable on foot. From Piazza Venezia, walk down Via dei Fori Imperiali. Continue straight for about 10-15 minutes, and the Colosseum will appear on your right. It’s a beautiful walk with views of ancient ruins along the way.

Taxi or Ride-sharing

You can also take a taxi or use a ride-sharing service like Uber. Simply enter 'Colosseum' or 'Piazza del Colosseo, 1' as your destination. The driver will take you directly to the entrance of the Colosseum.
