Rome in a Nutshell Private Driving Tour

Recommended for hassle free family tour in the summer heat

We did two private tours with Rome Private Excursions recently on our cruise around the Mediterranean: A pick up from Civitavecchia seeing the best of Rome (Colosseum & Vatican and whatever else we can fit in) and a pickup from Naples to see the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii. Both were excellent and no problems recommending them! Drivers were there well ahead of time, very easy to talk to, and pointed out interesting sights and trips along the way. That plus "skip the queue" tickets for the major sights very much made the most of our short time in both. For the Rome tour we squeezed in MUCH more than we could have hoped for and door to door service as well as dropping us right up to all the sights, where larger buses cannot hope to go was very much appreciated (very important with a 7 year old in the heat who's "legs are tired!" constantly). We paid extra for the guided tour of Vatican Museums to ensure we got to see the Sistine Chapel and queue-free entrance to St Peter's Basilica, though admittedly daddy enjoyed this stop more than the kids! For Naples the Positano stop, after an amazing drive along the Sorento and Amalfi coast was the perfect stop. As well as walking through this amazing, bustling town, we got a dip in the sea, before lunch with the most spectacular view, followed by Pompei in the afternoon. All in all an

Best topolino tour

Amazing experience! ❤️ The topolino car was such a fun and unique way to explore Rome. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and they even took beautiful photos of us during the tour and sent them to us afterwards. Everything was organised perfectly and we had the best time. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Rome. Highly recommend! 🇮🇹🚗❤️
