If you're driving from the town of Otranto, head southwest on SS16 towards Lecce. Continue on SS16 for about 30 km, then take the exit for Lecce Centro. Follow signs for the city center, and once you reach via Umberto I, you will find Basilica di Santa Croce on your left at Via Umberto I, 1. There is limited parking available in the vicinity, so be prepared for a short walk.

To reach Basilica di Santa Croce by public transport from Gallipoli, take the train from Gallipoli Station to Lecce. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Lecce Station, exit the station and head east on Via Giuseppe Garibaldi. Turn right onto Via Emanuele Mola, then left onto Via Umberto I. From Santa Maria di Leuca, take the SS275 road towards Lecce. After about 40 km, merge onto the SS16 towards Lecce. Continue for about 10 km and take the exit for Lecce Centro.
