Amazing hike with awesome sights, food, and tour guide!!
Magnificent seaside views and charming, rustic farming communities. Amazing sights and stops for local fare, including scrumptious seafood lunch with fresh fish right off the dock below. Unbelievable experience stepping back in time on our tour of a seaside path winding through stone formations and dwellings. A stop for snacks and a cooling dip into beautiful falls through gorgeous rock cliffs provided a refreshing pause mid-hike. Our host and guide, Marco, spoke with passion, knowledge and wisdom about the Salento culture as well as the history and beauty of the region. Great tour of the Salento
We were supposed to have an English guide but ended up with an Italian guide who used an AI translation. It worked out, but we weren't able to ask all the questions we had. Giovanni was an excellent driver and our car was very comfortable. We saw several small towns, a cave and a lot of the Salento countryside. The drive by the sea was beautiful. Great tour.
